Are there any side effects after cosmetic medical treatments?

The most common side effects occur within 24 hours or immediately post-treatment, including swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness. These usually disappear within days, but depending on the filler used, it may take a few weeks. A complimentary review appointment is recommended 2 weeks post-treatment.

Is there any downtime with PRP?

There is no downtime associated with PRP injections, but some redness and possible bruising may occur after treatment.

What is the aftercare for cosmetic medical treatments?

Remain upright for four hours after treatment, avoid strong skin treatments for two weeks, avoid retinol for at least 5 days, avoid alcohol and ibuprofen, do not exercise for 24 hours, avoid extreme temperatures, and avoid massaging or applying pressure to the treated area.

Vaccines and Cosmetic Injectables

It is advised to wait a minimum of 7 days before or after receiving any vaccination before undergoing cosmetic injectable treatments.

It is recommended to wait 2 weeks before and after vaccination before having dermal filler treatments.
