As there is with any medical procedure, chin filler comes with some potential risks and side effects clients should consider before undergoing treatment.

• Swelling
• Bruising
• Asymmetry
• Textural irregularities

These risks are extremely rare but worth noting:

• Allergic reaction
• Necrosis
• Infection

• Avoid touching, rubbing, or physical pressure on the affected area
• Avoid high temperatures like steam rooms, saunas, or heated exercise classes for
  48 hours after treatment.
• Avoid makeup on the area for up to 24 hours after.
• Avoid blood thinners such as Ibuprofen and fish oil tablets.

To assist with bruising, Arnica tablets may be recommended.

La Belle Clinic uses dermal filler that contains Lidocaine, a numbing agent that assists with decreasing discomfort during treatment.

Filler in the chin area tends to ache a little bit more than other areas after dermal filler treatment, but the ache subsides after 48 hours for most clients and is minimal.
