The Mandatory Consultation Process

In strict accordance with the AHPRA Guidelines for Registered Medical Practitioners performing cosmetic and non-surgical procedures, every patient must undergo a formal medical consultation prior to receiving any prescription-based treatment.

• Suitability assessment: The suitability assessment is conducted via a Telehealth consultation, i.e., a live video call with an AHPRA-registered doctor.
• Clinical Justification: The qualified medical practitioner will talk with you to review your medical history and any risks. They ensure that the procedure is clinically appropriate, safe and suitable for you.
• Informed Consent: The medical practitioner will not move forward unless and until a formal prescription is issued. This is only done after the patient approves and provides documented consent.

When it comes to our medical practitioners, we’ve got a great team:

• Nursing: Our senior injectors are registered nurses who have extensive training and experience in cosmetic (non-surgical) procedures.
• Dermal & Laser: Therapists at La Belle Clinic provide laser treatments and hold accredited diplomas in beauty therapy, along with certifications in advanced skin science and laser safety.
• Verification: Patients are encouraged to verify the registration status of our nursing staff via the AHPRA public register. During your medical consultation, your prescribing doctor will provide their full name and registration details for your records.

• Miss Peiyan Liu (English name “Theresa Liu”) is an AHPRA Registered Nurse (RN) with the registration number NMW0002290445.
• Miss Doreen Qian is also an AHPRA-registered nurse (RN) with registration no. NMW0001940597.

Jaslin Song: Jaslin Song has extensive experience as a Laser and Dermal Therapist/Senior Beauty Therapist. Jaslin specialises in operating advanced technologies and customised treatments to address your unique skin concerns. Jaslin is a professional in the operation of Fotona and Alma lasers, experienced in acne, pigmentation, anti-ageing, mesotherapy, and facial extractions.

In 2012, she completed her CIDESCO International Beauty Therapist Diploma certificate. Jaslin has worked in the Beauty and Cosmetics industry for 15 years. After that, she worked in Singapore’s innovative beauty industry for 7 years. From 2019 till now, Jaslin Song has found her interest and passion in Melbourne. Her goal is to deliver safe, effective and relaxing treatment. Jaslin Song provides laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and dermal therapy.

Ashley Cai: Ashley Cai is a dedicated Beauty and Laser Therapist. Ashley Cai has extensive training and experience as a Beauty and Laser Therapist. She has been working in the beauty industry for ten years. Ashley Cai earned Laser safety certification in 2020 and completed training under Alma laser in 2023. Operates low-risk Laser hair removal treatment and Fotona Laser. Further, she uses medical-grade lasers for pigmentation removal and has extensive experience in anti-ageing treatments. Ashley is a responsive and warm-hearted clinician.

Jessie Huang: Jessie Huang is a Clinic manager. She has more than 5 years of experience in the ever-evolving world of skincare and aesthetics. Jessie completed her laser treatment education and training in Melbourne, and her practice meets Australian health standards, ensuring the procedure is effective and safe. Jessie has extensive knowledge and experience in Fotona and Alma laser treatment. Jessie helps provide skin services, including refreshing facials, anti-wrinkle solutions, and targeted skincare advice.
